pub struct AddressReceiveProgress {
pub deposits: Vec<(OutPoint, ReceiveProgress)>,
pub mempool_visibility: MempoolVisibility,
}Expand description
What the federation currently reports about the deposits to one address.
Returned by WalletClientModule::address_receive_progress. The two fields
are only meaningful together: they come from a single query, so the
visibility flag describes exactly the view the deposits were read from.
Fields§
§deposits: Vec<(OutPoint, ReceiveProgress)>One entry per deposit the guardians can see, ordered by outpoint.
mempool_visibility: MempoolVisibilityThe best mempool view any guardian had for this query.
With MempoolVisibility::Complete, empty deposits mean no
matching deposit was observed in the reported snapshot. That is not
proof that no payment was sent: a guardian only inspects its own
mempool, which a freshly broadcast transaction may not have reached
yet, and a deposit mined long enough ago has left the reported block
window. With MempoolVisibility::Partial the unmined deposits
reported are real, but one may also be missing because a guardian
failed to fetch its transaction or has not reached it yet while still
working through a large mempool, which is normal progress rather than
a backend fault; with
MempoolVisibility::Unavailable the federation is blind to a
payment until it is mined. One guardian that inspected its whole
mempool is enough to make this Complete for everyone.
A wallet showing a receive screen wants this to choose between “we have not seen your payment yet” and “waiting for the first confirmation”, which are very different things to tell a user who has just paid.
